KINGSWINFORD based Corus Sheet Centre is relocating to Great Bridge this week to share a site with Corus’ Great Bridge Metal Centre. The move will improve and expand the service offered to Corus customers by enabling both businesses to share stockholding and logistics resources.

WEDNESFIELD based Corus has won one of the UK’s most prestigious manufacturing accolades – the Manufacturer Award for Leadership and Strategy. Corus Distribution and Building Systems was given the award, part of a scheme created by the Manufacturer magazine to celebrate manufacturing best practice, for its implementation of the ‘Corus Way’ programme.

WEDNESFIELD based Corus held its first ever ‘family day’ on Saturday for Steelpark based employees and their families. Around 1000 people attended the event which also raised more than £8,000 for four Midlands charities – Wolverhampton’s Compton Hospice for terminally ill patients, the Acorns Children’s Hospice for children, the Motorneurone Disease in Sport Trust and New Cross Hospital’s Accident & Emergency.
