 The Leeds Regional Strip business has seen rapid expansion during its first 12 months of trading, employing an additional nine people and processing five times the amount of Strip Products it was a year ago. Customer numbers have also grown more than five fold with the business winning back old as well as recruiting new clients.
Further growth is anticipated during 2007 following the commissioning of a Multi Strand Blanking line which will enable the site to nearly double its processing capacity. Targets have already been set for a 175 per cent year-on-year increase in the amount of Strip to be processed this year.
The new line will also reinforce Leeds Regional Strip’s position as a specialist decoiling operation which has a growing reputation for the provision of high quality precision levelled flat products, a customer service driven lead time on all orders and continuity of supply. The line will become fully operational during quarter two 2007.
