![]() KINGSWINFORD based Corus Sheet Centre is relocating to Great Bridge this week to share a site with Corus’ Great Bridge Metal Centre. The move will improve and expand the service offered to Corus customers by enabling both businesses to share stockholding and logistics resources. Launched in February 2007, Corus Sheet Centre is the first Corus business to specialise in the provision of light gauge steel sheet. The Centre offers customers fast, flexible access to a wide range of standard and de-coiled to length steel sheet and blanks from 0.7 to 3mm in thickness. The move to Great Bridge will mean both the Sheet and Metal Centres have access to more sheet stock ranging from 0.7 – 20mm and are able to offer guaranteed next day delivery on in-stock products ordered by 5pm. Andy Mitchell, Corus Sheet Centre business manager said: ‘The move reflects our commitment to providing customers with excellent service, short lead times and fast delivery of high quality products. The two Centres share a number of customers, so by combining ourtransport and distribution we can reduce lead times, minimise duplicate deliveries to customers and offer a more flexible service.” Designed to meet the requirements of both small and large customers, Corus Sheet Centre can handle everything from a request for a single sheet of steel to a full load. The Centre gives customers a local service but with all the benefits of dealing with a major multi-national company with a comprehensive product range, stock availability and competitive prices. The Corus Sheet Centre is open from 8.30am to 5pm (3.30pm Friday) and can be contacted on 0121 522 5490.
