Cold formed hollow sections

Hybox® 355 in accordance with EN 10219

Hybox® 355 is the brand name for Corus' cold formed structural hollow sections in accordance with EN 10219 S355J2H. The material has a yield strength 355 N/mm2 and a Charpy impact minimum value of 27 J at -20°C. All our sections are submitted to specific inspection and testing, and supplied with an inspection certificate type 3.1 B to EN 10204.

These sections are for construction and mechanical applications and where controlled specifications and design requirements apply.

Circular Hollow Sections (CHS)

From 26.9 to 508 mm outside diameter.
Wall thickness from 2.0 to 16 mm.
In addition sizes can be supplied from 457 to 2134 mm outside diameter in wall thickness from 6.4 to 28.6 mm.

Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS)

From 25x25 mm to 300x300 mm square.
From 50x25 mm to 400x200 mm rectangle.
Wall thickness from 2.0 to 12.5 mm.

Strongbox® 235

Strongbox® 235 is the brand name for a range of multi purpose cold formed hollow sections for general engineering purposes.

Strongbox® 235 cold formed hollow sections are produced with a minimum yield strength of 235 N/mm2. They offer a consistent profile and fully comply with the dimensional tolerances of EN 10219, excluding mass. Our sections are sold with a test report type 2.2 to EN 10204 as standard.

Circular Hollow Sections (CHS)

From 26.9 to 139.7 mm outside diameter.
Wall thickness from 2.0 to 6.0 mm.

Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS)

From 25x25 mm to 150x150 mm square.
From 50x25 mm to 200x100 mm rectangle.
Wall thickness from 2.0 to 8.0 mm.
